State upgrades security apparatus as VVIPs plan visit

The state is gearing up for a star-studded campaign as Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, L K Advani, Narendra Modi and Nitin Gadkari are slated to visit the state.

Congress strongholds Malda and Murshidabad will go to polls on April 18 and 23 respectively.
